Eastpoint branch of the library to begin closing at 5:30

                The Eastpoint branch of the Franklin County public library will start closing a little earlier beginning next month.

Library director Anne Birchwell received county approval to begin closing the library at 5:30 in the afternoon after daylight savings time ends on November the 2^nd.

Currently the library is open till 6.

Miss Birchwell said that the library does not have lights in the parking lot so it will be safer for patrons and staff to close while it’s still daylight.
