Swimming advisory issued for Mash's Island in Wakulla County

A swimming advisory has been issued Mash’s Island in Wakulla County.

The Wakulla County Health Department issued the advisory on Tuesday after water testing indicated bacteria levels that exceed state requirements.

The advisory will remain in effect until water quality tests show the water is safe for swimming.

There are currently no swimming advisories in effect in Franklin County.
