Celebrate Christmas island style with the lighting of the palms

Santa will be coming to St. George Island’s Lighthouse Park this Friday, Dec. 5th.  The activities begin with a Jingle Jog fun run at 4:00, followed by children’s choruses, and the arrival of Santa by fire engine at 5.  Santa will hear children’s wishes and provide gifts to kids age 10 and younger  The lighting of the palms occurs at sunset.  Lots of coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies for everyone.
