Local unemployment at 5 and a half percent in November

Unemployment in Franklin County remained at 5 and a half percent between October and November.
Labor statistics released Friday show 285 people looking for work in Franklin County last month – just 2 more than the in October.
The workforce increased by 13 people.
Twenty Two counties had lower unemployment rates than Franklin County last month.
Unemployment in Gulf County remained unchanged at 5.7 percent.
337 people were looking for work in Gulf County in November.
Wakulla County continues to have one of the lowest unemployment rates in Florida at 4.6 percent - in Liberty County it fell slightly from 5.2 to 5.1 percent.
