Chipley - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a public information meeting concerning improvements to State Road (S.R.) 61 (Crawfordville Highway) from S.R. 30 (U.S. 98) to north of Alaska Way, which includes the realignment of the intersection of S.R. 61 and U.S. 98. The meeting will be held Thursday, March 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. EDT at the Medart Assembly of God Church Fellowship Hall, 4647 Crawfordville Highway, Crawfordville. The meeting will include an informative presentation at5:30 p.m.
The intent of this project is to realign the intersection of S.R. 61 and U.S. 98, including improvements to both U.S. 98 and S.R. 61. Americans with Disabilities (ADA) improvements will be included in this project with sidewalks and bicycle lanes being constructed along both sides of S.R. 61. Project materials, maps and information boards will be available to review and FDOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions concerning the project.
Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display, representatives from FDOT will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.
