BEEKEEPING: SO EASY A CAVEMAN CAN DO IT?
A presentation by Beekeeper
BOB LIVINGSTON
Bees play a vital role to our food chain. According to the U.S Department of Agriculture, bees pollinate 80 percent of our flowering crops, which constitute one-third of everything we eat. 
Bob will share basic information on honey bees and beekeeping, including the three casts of bees in a beehive, tools of the trade used in beekeeping, diseases & pests, Colony Collapse Disorder, products of the hive and the importance of bees to our food supply, the economy, and the environment.

Bob Livingston received both his Master Beekeeper and Welsh Honey Judge credentials at the University of Florida's Master Beekeeping Program. He is one of the founding members of the Apalachee Beekeepers Association, Inc. and serves as its Treasurer. Bob is also the Interim Treasurer for the Florida State Beekeepers Association Inc.
