GULF BREEZE, FL – April 24, 2015 – Mediacom continues to expand viewing choices for subscribers of cable television with its announcement this week that DIY Network and the Cooking Channel will be added to the lineup May 1. The new channels feature a variety of lifestyle programs, including Not My Mamma’s Meals, Rehab Addict, Flip or Flop and others.
DIY Networks programming covers a broad range of topics related to home improvement and landscaping, while content presented on the Cooking Channel is dedicated to today’s passionate food lover.
DIY Network and the Cooking Channel can be found on Mediacom channels 296 and 297 as part of an optional channel tier known as the “Kids and Variety Digital Pak.” The channel set includes up to 29 other specialty channels featuring programming designed for kids such as Disney XD, Sprout, and Teen Nick, and a selection of popular adult and family channels including OWN, National Geographic, and Investigation Discovery.
Company representatives describe the addition as a way to offer viewers a wider variety of lifestyle programming, including many popular cable programs watched by viewers throughout the country.
