Chipley – A Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) bridge maintenance crew will perform routine bridge maintenance work on the U.S. 98 Ochlockonee Bay Bridge in Panacea, Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1. Eastbound lane closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Routine inspections are one tool the department uses to provide a safe transportation system, an example of the dedication to making travel in Florida safer and more efficient.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling.
