We're not crazy, we just have less light noise :)

                On average, Franklin County residents see more unidentified flying objects than people in other Florida counties.         

A real estate research website compiled the information from the National UFO Reporting Center.

They looked through over 38,000 reports to identify which counties in Florida have the most alleged UFO sightings per 100 thousand people.

There were only 10 reported UFO sightings in Franklin County, but with our small population that came to over 86 sightings per 100 thousand people.

Number 2 was Hernando County with only 33 reported sightings per 100 thousand people.

It’s possible that local people see more UFOs because we’re close to an air force base, or because we spend a lot of time outdoors.

It’s also possible that we have one of the clearest and darkest night skies in Florida making it easier to see what’s up there.
