APALACHICOLA NATIONAL ESTUARINE RESEARCH RESERVE HOSTS PLANNING WORKSHOP

~Mapping data to help planning and growth strategies~

June 2, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Community Health and Resources Management Workshop will educate participants on the impacts of growth and development strategies on the coastal community. The workshop will use local mapping data to depict hypothetical growth and development scenarios so that attendees can see the real-time effects of planning decisions and collaborate in problem solving.  
This free workshop is recommended for resource managers, local officials, community members, planners, developers and others interested in developing community-based coastal resiliency strategies. Participants can bring lunch or pay $10 for catered lunch.
