CareerSource Capital Region brings a job fair to Wakulla County
Wakulla County job fair will connect employers with open positions to local residents
Crawfordville, Fla. - In an effort to connect Wakulla County residents to open positions inside county lines, CareerSource Capital Region and Wakulla County’s Board of County Commissioners are joining forces to connect employers and residents, by hosting the 2015 Wakulla County Job Fair on May 14, at the Wakulla One-Stop Community Center.
The job fair will feature local Wakulla County employers seeking candidates for current job vacancies. Employer booths are almost gone. Any employers still interested in attending can register through CareerSource Capital Region by calling (850) 617-4611 or emailing cbes@ careersourcecapitalregion.com.
Job seekers who attend the job fair will get an opportunity to speak with prospective employers and gather employment information directly from representatives in financial services, health care, non-profit, government, manufacturing and other industry sectors. Individuals attending the fair in hopes of securing employment should come professionally dressed with copies of their current resume and be registered as a job seeker on www.EmployFlorida.com, through which they can review and apply for job postings of participating employers ahead of time.
“Employers look to us to connect them to qualified talent and our job fairs have proven to do just that,” said Jim McShane, CEO of Career Source Capital Region. “When employers come to our recruitment events, they are not just coming to meet and greet, they have open positions that they need to fill, and that’s what this job fair is all about.”
