Concealed Weapon Licensees and Applicants Can Now Live Chat for Assistance Current Licensees Up for Renewal Should Also Update Their Address Online TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida residents and others who have a concealed weapon license or are applying for a concealed weapon license can now go online to FreshFromFlorida.com and chat live with Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services customer assistance representatives. The department would also like to remind those licensees whose license is up for renewal to update their addresses online as soon as possible. “We assist thousands of concealed weapon license applicants and license holders each week,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Adam H. Putnam. “This new chat function will provide information quickly and conveniently to those with questions about the licensing process or their licenses.” To access the chat function, go to FreshFromFlorida.com, and click on the word “Search” in the middle of the page. The search box will come up, along with the consumer service hotline number and the link that says “Live Chat.” When you click on “Live Chat,” choose the “Concealed Weapons” option from the drop-down menu for questions about that program. The drop-down menu also provides options for assistance with questions on licensing for security officers, private investigators and recovery agents.
