FDLE, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office search for suspect in sex crime

ST. TERESA BEACH, Fla. – The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are looking for information about an incident that took place in St. Teresa Beach last month. 

On April 25, around 4:15 a.m., an unknown male entered a home in St. Teresa Beach in Franklin County and assaulted a female juvenile by touching her in a lewd manner while she was asleep in bed.  After the victim left the room and alerted others in the home, the intruder fled in a grey Silverado or similar pickup truck. 

The male is described as approximately 6 feet tall, average build with curly or wavy brown hair.  The suspect is believed to be in his 20’s or 30’s with a tattoo across his upper back.  The tattoo is described as being a design or pattern.
