Franklin County’s official website will
get some new updates that will make it more useful for the public.
Franklin
county commissioners this week agreed to pay 2K webgroup 1500 dollars to
redesign the site franklincountyflorida.com.
One
of the main updates will allow the public to notify county officials of
problems and issues through a direct link on the website.
County
coordinator Michael Moron said that function would allow residents to report
damage or other issues at local parks or other county owned properties directly
through the website, and even upload pictures if needed.
The
updates will also allow County staff to constantly inform the public of
upcoming events, pertinent and general information, and changes to public
meetings with a newsfeed option.
