Apalachicola Mayor now offering extended office hours
Apalachicola Mayor Van Johnson is extending his weekly office hours to make him more accessible to citizens.
Beginning this week the Mayor’s Office will be open 5-days a week.
Someone will be at the office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to greet visitors and answer questions.
The Mayor will continue to hold open office hours each Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 Noon and from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M., with no appointments necessary.
The extended office hours are made possible through a partnership agreement between the Mayor’s Office and the National Caucus and Center on Black Aging.
As a host agency there's no cost to the Mayor’s Office or the City for participating in the program.
To reach the Mayor’s Office call 653-1017 or just simply stop by for a visit at the Mayor Van W. Johnson, Sr., Recreation & Community Service Complex (formerly the old Apalachicola High School).
