Carrabelle woman killed in 2 vehicle crash in Sopchoppy

A 64 year old woman from Carrabelle was killed Thursday night in a two vehicle accident on Highway 319 in Sopchoppy.
The Highway patrol said Elizabeth Carol Davis of Carrabelle died when the Honda Pilot, in which she was a passenger, was hit by a Dodge Ram driven by Michael Dylan Klink of Eastpoint.
The accident happened at 11 o’clock Thursday night.
The Highway patrol said the Honda was heading south on 319 and was on a curve near Sheldon Street in Sopchoppy when the northbound Dodge Ram straightened out in the curve and traveled into the southbound lane where it hit the Honda on the front passenger side, killing Miss Davis.
The Dodge then struck a power pole and caught on fire.
Michael Dylan Klink received minor injuries in the crash – the highway patrol is investigating whether he had been drinking and said charges are pending the results of that investigation.

The Driver of the Honda, 63 year old Melissa Mann Cumbie of Carrabelle received minor injuries in the crash and was taken to TMH for treatment.
