Project Impact Summer Camp 2016 starts next week!

Apalachicola, FL, June 6, 2016– Project Impact, City of Apalachicola 21 st CCLC will be hosting their annual FREE Summer Camp from Monday, June 13 th through July 28 th from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Thursday, at the City Municipal Complex (Old Apalachicola High School) and the ABC Site.

The City Site features extended hours on Saturdays from 10 - 2 for 6 th -12 th grade only!

The camp is open to Grades Kindergarten through 12 th with a variety of activities offered throughout the day and all students will receive free breakfast and lunch courtesy of the Franklin County Food Services Program.

The days are filled with fun activities including; art, pottery, photography, guitar lessons, volleyball, basketball, martial arts, yoga, Kids in the Kitchen, Library Program, robotics and so much more! Every Thursday the students take off on field trips and this summer we are headed to the PCB Aquatic Center, Gymnastics Plus, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum!

Both sites will also offer an intense summer reading workshop to help “Prevent the Summer Slide” hosted by certified teachers. In addition, the High Schoolers will have the option to participate in our Credit Recovery Program at the City Site with a dedicated computer lab open 5 days a week!
