ANERR to host beach walk this Friday

Friday, July 15th , 7:00am St George Island Lighthouse
Join the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve on Friday, July 15th, as we walk along St George Island Beach, exploring the areas where turtles and shorebirds like to nest. See the large shells washed up from the night before. Witness firsthand some of the island’s animal inhabitants moving about before the beach becomes noisy and crowded.
After the walk come cool off  with a light snack while we learn more about the animals on St. George and what individuals can do to help the species that live here.
Meet at the Lighthouse at 7:00am. Seats are limited, to reserve a spot call Emily Jackson at 850-670-7743
