Management Experts selected to lead local disaster training programs

                County Commissioners this week approved a contract with a company called The Management Experts to provide disaster response training and exercises through the Franklin County emergency Management office.

The Management Experts were chosen from a field of four companies that bid for the work.

The company has been the training and exercise coordinator for the county for a number of years and emergency management director Pam Brownell said they have done a great job.

The county has a 9500 dollar Homeland Security grant to pay for the training.

Pam Brownell said this year’s training will likely be a communications exercise between various emergency response groups.
