It could take a little longer to get to Tallahassee beginning this
week.
Road work will begin Thursday
on a $3 million project to construct and realign the intersection of State Road
Highway 319 from Highway 98 to north of Alaska Way.
This project also
includes the construction of sidewalks and bicycle lanes along both sides of
Crawfordville Road, realignment of Crawfordville Road with Highway 98 at 90
degrees, installation of a new traffic signal and signalized pedestrian
crossings.
The project is
scheduled for completion spring 2017.
Motorists may
experience minor travel delays during construction activities as heavy
equipment enters and exits the work zone.
Drivers
are reminded to use caution, watch for workers and equipment, and are advised
to plan accordingly.
