Disaster recovery center for Hurricane Hermine survivors opens in Wakulla County on Thursday

FEMA and Florida's State Emergency Response Team are opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Wakulla County on Thursday, November 17.
The center will give residents who were affected by Hurricane Hermine a place to find more information about available state and federal assistance.
Help will be available to apply for federal disaster assistance, learn about the types of assistance available, learn about the appeals process and to get updates regarding applications.
The Disaster Recovery Center will be staffed with representatives from FEMA, the Florida Division of Emergency Management and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The center will be open this Thursday, November 17th through Saturday, November 19 at the Wakulla County Recreation Department located at 79 Recreation Drive in Crawfordville.
The hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
And remember, if you plan to apply for assistance, time is running out.

The deadline to register for federal disaster assistance under Hurricane Hermine is November 28.
