Sacred
Heart hospital on the Gulf in Port St. Joe was recently ranked one of
the safest hospital in the US by a national patient safety watchdog
group.
The
Leapfrog group recently issued Hospital Safety Grades.
Sacred
Heart Hospital on the Gulf in Port St. Joe and Sacred Heart Hospital
on the Emerald Coast in Miramar Beach were two of 844 hospitals to
receive an “A”, ranking them both among the safest hospitals in
the United States.
The
Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 30 measures of publicly available
hospital safety data to assign A, B, C, D and F grades to more than
2,600 U.S. hospitals twice per year.
