Area 1652 of the
Apalachicola Bay will reopen to oyster harvesting at sunrise on
Monday.
Area 1652 is the
conditionally approved summer north shellfish harvesting area, it was
closed last week after heavy rains crossed our area.
The Department of
Agriculture says recent water samples show the waters meet the
standards to be reopened for oyster harvesting.
