Eastpoint to get second Dollar Store

Franklin County Commissioners have given approval for a new Dollar Store in Eastpoint.

Commissioners approved using a portion of the old nursing home property on Highway 98 for a Family Dollar store.

The project will include a 9200 square foot building along with 48 parking spaces on about one and a half acres.

The property is already zoned commercial.

This will be the second Dollar Store In Eastpoint, there is a Dollar General just a few blocks away.
