Franklin County swore in its newly elected county commissioners last week.

Smokey Parrish took the oath to start his third term as county commissioner from District 4.

He recently defeated Howard Wesson in a close re-election race.

Also taking the oath of office was Bert Boldt from Alligator Point.

Boldt won a three way race to replace Cheryl Sanders who did not seek re-election this year after serving 20 years on the county commission.
