Lockley named Franklin County Commission chairman

The Franklin County Commission has a new chairman.

District 3 Commissioner Noah Lockley was named to the chairman's position last Tuesday.

He replaces Smokey Parrish in that position.

Lockley has served on the county commission since 2004 and has served as vice-chairman for the past two years.

Vice chairman for the next year is William Massey who represent District 5.

Massey was first elected in 2012 and is currently serving his 2nd term in office.
