The Franklin County Sheriff's office is cracking down on speeders

   The Franklin County Sheriff's office is cracking down on speeders.

The Sheriff's office said that due to the heavy traffic coming to our county, from the east and the west, the speeding is getting very bad countywide.

Sheriff AJ Smith has called for a special detail to work traffic in Franklin County for the duration of the summer.

The detail will focus on speeding and be in force at least one day each weekend.
