A Wakulla County school bus carrying 15 children was involved in an accident on Tuesday afternoon, but luckily no one was injured.
The bus was eastbound on Carter Road just after 5 pm Tuesday when an unidentified vehicle approached the bus from the east.
Because the road is so narrow, the bus stopped and began to reverse to allow the vehicle to pass.
The bus reversed into a tree that leans over Carter Road.
The driver, a 45 year old female from Carrabelle was uninjured as were the 15 passengers whose ages ranged from 9 to 11.
The Highway patrol, along with the Wakulla County sheriff's office, EMS and fire department responded to the incident.
