Board Positions Available! Have you been thinking about how to get more involved with the Friends? Now is your chance! We currently have a vacancy on the board and are looking for someone interested in serving. The Friends Board of Directors meet monthly and as needed. We also support the Library with events and other fundraisers. Lastly, you will be asked to help support the Friends by being part of the planning and execution of the Mardi Gras Fundraiser Ball. The Friends Support the Wakulla County Preparedness Expo! This past Saturday, our Friends Board Members Lauren L and Andy R had the chance to participate in Wakulla County Sheriff's Office Preparedness Expo. Youth were provided with a free book on surviving disasters and their own "survival kit," If you were not able to make it, we still have a few left at the library so stop in! Help us help the library! The Friends support the Library by funding book and equipment acquisitions, free summer children's programs, maintenance and enhancements of library facilities, STEAM classes and materials.  DONATE!

Honoring our library staff! The Friends were excited to honor our library staff for National Library Worker's Day on April 25th! Staff were provided with a Taco Tuesday bar. We are blessed to have the amazing staff of our Wakulla County Public Library who care about our community, the youth, and literacy as much as we do!   Get your t-shirts here! Support the Wakulla County Public Library with the purchase & wearing of these great shirts. Purchase!

Scholarship Awarded! The Friends  were so excited to present our annual scholarship last week to Wakulla High senior David Marr. David is an amazing young man, an Eagle Scout and an honor student. We wish him success in all he does through life.

Books! Books! Books! The Friends want to remind you of our Bookstore available at the Library. There you will find all types of books available for purchase for as little as $.25. We also offer copying and printing for a small fee. All proceeds from these services are reinvested back into the Library's youth programs.
