Carrabelle History Museum seeks donations

The Carrabelle History Museum is looking for some local donations to help pay for a new sign for the building.

The museum is located at 106 B Street, SE in the old Carrabelle City Hall which is not exactly easy to find for people who don’t know Carrabelle so the new sign would do a lot toward bringing in more visitors. A Tallahassee company called Saul’s Signs will build the sign and are 400 dollars for the work – the museum has collected about 325 dollars so they aren’t seeking a lot of money though there is a time issue because they would like the sign to be up by April the 13th.

If you would like to make a donation to the cause, you can make your check out to Carrabelle CARES – it is tax deductible. For more information contact Tamara Allen at the Carrabelle Historical Society at 697- 2141.
