Two arrested in Apalachicola for running meth lab





The Franklin County sheriff’s office has arrested two people on charges of running a methamphetamine lab from a home in Apalachicola.

On Friday, May 14th the Franklin County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, along with members of the Apalachicola Police Department served a Search Warrant on a home at 151 15th Street in Apalachicola. During the search, officers seized listed chemicals, drug paraphernalia, materials used to manufacture methamphetamine, and trace amounts of methamphetamine.

Officers arrested 33 year old Martha M Ward of Apalachicola and 34 year old Jason Paul Dorman of Irvington, Alabama.

Both were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Listed Chemicals, Manufacture of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Child Neglect. The sheriff’s department says the two could face more charges pending further investigation.
