SBA offices remain open to help businesses impacted by oil gusher

The U.S. Small Business Administration continues to keep its Business Recovery Centers in Apalachicola, Crawfordville and Port St. Joe open to help small businesses and most private non-profit organizations affected by the Deepwater BP Oil Spill.

The Centers are located at the Apalachicola Bay Chamber of Commerce office located at 122 Commerce Street in Apalachicola, at the Economic Development Council office at 406 Marina Drive in port St. Joe and at the Wakulla Agricultural Center in Crawfordville.

The centers are open from Monday through Friday from 8 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon.
Eligible small businesses in the affected areas may qualify for Economic Injury Disaster Loans up to $2 million.
Interest rates are 3 percent for non-profit organizations and 4 percent for businesses with terms up to 30 years.
