Local students will return to school soon, and some may not have the school supplies they need unless you are willing to help.
Gulf State Community Bank is once again collecting school supplies for children who need them – but this year they have added a new option to the collection program.
As in year’s past the bank has set up collection boxes at the entrances of all Gulf State Bank locations where you can leave donations of school supplies like paper, pencils and notebooks.
But this year they are also taking part in a program where you can purchase a school supply box for a student or group of students.
That insures that each students gets al of the supplies he or she will need for the school year.
The cost is 12.50 cents per student, or you can get supplies for an entire class for 300 dollars or for an entire grade for 1000 dollars.
Pledge forms and more information are available at any Gulf State Community Bank location so make to stop by as soon as possible.
Franklin County students will return to school on August the 23rd.
