Vision Airlines increasing number of flights to Northwest Florida Airport
Flying in and out of North Florida will be easier and cheaper thanks to the expansion of another low-cost airline into the area.
Vision Airlines has announced it is expanding its low-fare air service from 17 new markets to the Northwest Florida Regional Airport in Destin.
Beginning March the 25th, direct flights will be available to Atlanta, Macon and Savannah in Georgia, Birmingham and Huntsville in Alabama, and St. Petersburg and Punta Gorda in florida.
There will also be direct flights to Little Rock, Baton Rouge, Knoxville, Greenville and Louisville.
That will be followed on April 1st with flights to Chattanooga, Shreveport, Ashville, Orlando and Columbia, South Carolina.
Vision airlines said this is the largest expansion of a commercial airline over ten years; one-way tickets will start at 79 dollars.
But if you book tickets between January the 18th through the 23rd, you can get them for as low as 49 dollars.
