NEWS RELEASE

On Tuesday, June 30, 2011, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, conducted a drug investigation in Eastpoint, Florida. The investigation resulted in the arrest of two individuals from Franklin County. During the investigation, Deputies seized a 1995 GMC Truck; $2642.00 in US currency; 22 Roxicodone prescription pills and drug paraphernalia. 

Tracy S. Wilson, age 35 of 241 Rex Buzzett Street, Apalachicola, Florida, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with the intent to Sale or Distribute; Introduction of Contraband into a Correctional Facility; Possession of a Controlled Substance;  Tampering with Physical Evidence; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Structure for the Use or Sale of Controlled Substances.  Wilson was released on bond from the Franklin County Jail.

Jonathan Pace, age 34, of 45 Begonia Street, Eastpoint, Florida, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and two counts of Violation of Probation. Pace is currently being held in the Franklin County Jail.

Additional charges are pending further investigation.
