Oyster Radio: Deadline to apply for county director of administrative services job is Friday

The deadline to apply for the county Director of Administrative Services position is this Friday.

Alan Pierce, who currently fills the position, announced his retirement in September.

The job requires that he coordinates with county offices for the county commission and works closely with the Clerk of the courts office.

He also serves as county planner and as the airport manager – though the new hire will likely not have to do those jobs.

The county hope to have his replacement working by December the 1^st so that there can be an extended transition period.
