Jennifer Brown sentenced to nearly 2 years in prison

            Jennifer Brown was sentenced Wednesday to nearly 2 years in prison and 20 years probation for pocketing possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars in Franklin County probation payments.

Jennifer Brown was an employee with Florida Probation Services, which collects payments and monitors public service hours for local misdemeanor probation cases.

She was arrested in 2013 for pocketing hundreds of thousands of dollars in probation payments over a period of nearly 5 years.

She was sentenced on Wednesday to 23 months in prison.

Miss Brown will also be required to make financial restitution.
