Franklin County kicked off the New Year without a swimming advisory. The Health department has issued the water quality results for the first week of 2010 and said that there were no advisories issued for any local beach.
Last week marked the 27th week without a local swimming advisory; the last advisory issued for any of the 6 local beaches tested for bacteria was on June the 29th.
There were also no advisories issued for Gulf County or for Wakulla County though only one beach was tested in Wakulla county last week. Water quality results were not returned for Mash’s Island last week.
