Franklin County EOC selects companies to provide emergency response training

            The Emergency Management office has selected two companies to provide disaster response training at the EOC over the next year.

Three companies bid on the work; Emergency Management Director Pam Brownell said a committee looked at the proposals and agreed that the contract should go to the Disaster Strategies and Ideas group and the Expert Managers group both out of Tallahassee.

The Expert Managers group provided training at the local EOC last year.

The training programs are funded through a Homeland Security grant.
