Local students are getting a 4 day weekend.
There is no school tomorrow because of a teacher in-service day and no school on Monday because of President’s Day.
If you don’t know what to do with your kids on Friday – Project Impact in Apalachicola can help.
Project Impact will hold a “Teen Cuisine” program for students in grades 6 through 12 on Friday.
The program will give 15 kids hands on experience in the food service industry at AJ’s Neighborhood Grill.
For all other students the program offers pottery, arts and crafts, a computer lab and a movie.
Project Impact is free of charge – it is held at the old Apalachicola High School from 8 AM till 4 PM.
You can register your child for the program on-line at www.projectimpactfcs.org.
