Weems memorial Hospital in Apalachicola now has a mission statement.
The hospital’s advisory board created the mission statement and sent it to the county commission last week.
The mission statement simply says that Weems Memorial Hospital’s “mission is to improve the health care status of the residents and visitors to Franklin County, by providing quality, compassionate, cost effective and convenient health care through community leadership and in collaboration with other healthcare organizations which serve our communities.”
