The Florida Department of Agriculture has reopened a portion of the Apalachicola Bay to oyster harvesting.
The state reopened the conditionally approved area 1612 at sunrise today.
That’s the area closest to the mouth of the Apalachicola River.
That area has been closed for a number of weeks because of high river levels.
