Port St. Joe resident reappointed to Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board


A Port St. Joe man has been reappointed to the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board.Governor Rick Scott announced Wednesday that 33 year old William “Brian” Cathey of Port Saint Joe will continue to serve on the statewide board.He was originally named to the board by Charlie Crist.Mister Cathey is the owner and president of Cathey Construction. His term began on June 21st and ends in October 2014.The Construction Industry Licensing Board regulates construction contractors and their businesses across Florida.The board is made up of 18 members representing various construction industries including general contractors, sheet metal contractors, pool contractors, and roofing contractors.
