County commissioners will have a full agenda when they meet tomorrow in Apalachicola.
The board will meet with representatives of the Department of Agriculture first thing in the morning to find out how oyster license fees are used by the state.
Commissioners have discussed trying to redirect some of those license fees to help benefit local seafood workers more directly.
At this point the board is collecting information to see whether the effort would be beneficial.
The board will also get a chance to recognize local youth baseball players who made it to the state tournament this year.
At the last meeting the board recognized local softball players.
Representatives of the local Community Action Agency will also talk to commissioners about recent budget cuts and how that will impact needy residents in Franklin County over the next year.
The full agenda is posted on the news page at oysterradio.com.
The county commission meeting will begin at 9 tomorrow at the Franklin County Courthouse Annex.
