Legal Services of North Florida to help with BP issues

Legal Services of North Florida has just received a 200 thousand dollar grant to help residents and businesses with BP related issues.

The non-profit group provides free legal representation to low-income people in North Florida with civil legal problems.
Over the next 18 months the group will provide additional help to residents and small businesses who have either not been able to file claims against BP or are having difficulties with the claims process.

The Gulf Coast Oil Spill Support Project will also provide legal representation to low-income residents with a variety of other legal issues related to the oil spill.

Outreach workers will be coming from offices in Panama City, Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola to the communities most affected by the oil spill which includes counties from Franklin to Santa Rosa.

If you would like to contact Legal Services of North Florida to see if they can help you with a BP related issue – you can reach their Panama City office at 850) 769-3581.

You can also get more information on-line at www.lsnf.org.
