Wewa man injured when SUV pulls in front of his motorcycle


A 45 year old Wewahitchka man was seriously injured when a car pulled in front of his motorcycle in Eastpoint on Sunday.
 
Frankie Lyn Wilson was life flighted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for treatment.
 
Mister Wilson was heading west on Highway 98 and was at the second street intersection when 62 year old Robert Lee Kimberling of Eastpoint drove across the highway to park at a restaurant.
 
Mister Wilson’s 2012 Honda Motorcycle collided with the left front of Mister Kimberling’s Chevy SUV.
 
Mister Wilson was thrown off of his motorcycle across the hood of the SUV.
 
Mister Kimberling was uninjured in the collision – though he as cited for failure to yield the right of way.
 
Mister Wilson was also cited for not having a motorcycle endorsement.
