The 4th annual Forgotten Coast Black Bear Festival was held at Sands Park in Carrabelle on Saturday. There was a steady crowd through the day. There was also a live black bear at the festival for a short time. The festival is designed to teach residents about the special challenges of living in bear country. It also gives local artists a chance to show off and sell their favorite wildlife pieces. Brian Bowen and King Cotton provided entertainment through the very hot day.
