The path would reach from Alligator
Point
Marina
to Gulf Shore Boulevard .
The engineering portion of the project is
expected to cost 122 thousand dollars.
The companies that provided qualifications
were Prebble Rish out of Port St. Joe, Southeastern Consulting engineering out
of Wewahitchka and the Genesis Group and a company called DMRP both out of Tallahassee .
Their qualifications were passed on to a
committee for consideration.
This is the second time the county has
opened qualifications for the project.
The first time only two companies sent in
proposals, but under state rules at least three companies need to apply for the
work.
