The
park was closed in mid-April after strong storms crossed the area tearing the
roofs off two of the dugouts and doing substantial damage to some of the fences
around the fields.
The
park officially reopened on Monday.
The
total cost for repairs to the park was over 27 thousand dollars, though the
county was responsible for only $5,000 for the required deductible.
