We may get some better cell phone
reception on the eastern end of the county in the near future, especially of
you use ATT.
The county commission on Tuesday
approved the construction of a telecommunication tower along about 400 feet off
of Highway 98 near SummerCamp.
Not only will the tower help with
phone service, but ATT has agreed to let the county use some of the tower space
rent free to help with county communications – which will benefit the sheriff’s
department, the ambulance service, and other county departments.
